How to Refer

Our team consults and treats patients from birth through the age of 21 in the Center for Pediatric Sleep Medicine.

A Team Approach

CHKD's Center for Pediatric Sleep Medicine can provide the diagnostic and treatment services to help children and teens get the sleep they need. A good night's sleep is critical to a child's health, happiness and success in school. When problems interrupt normal sleep patterns, it is important to identify the underlying causes.

Our pediatric sleep experts have the advantage of being supported by CHKD's comprehensive network of pediatric programs and specialists. This helps to ensure proper diagnosis and care when dealing with sleep problems complicated by other medical disorders such as asthma, autism, epilepsy, gastroesophageal reflux disease, craniofacial disorders, obesity and neuromuscular disorders.

CHKD's sleep medicine team is here to diagnose simple and complex sleep disorders.

Exclusively for Children

CHKD's center for pediatric sleep medicine was created specifically with kids in mind. Every staff member has pediatric training and experience with conditions and issues unique to children. Our state-of-the-art facilities are designed to be reassuring and comforting, with cheerful cozy sleep areas developed especially for our young patients. Kids and parents can play games, watch television, read, and relax before bedtime.
