Pediatric Rehabilitation
A new bike called a functional electrical stimulation therapy bike is the newest piece of equipment at CHKD’s inpatient rehabilitation unit. It works by sending small electrical pulses to paralyzed muscles to restore or improve their function. CHKD's rehabilitation services provide a comprehensive approach to improving and restoring function through the use of diagnostic, therapeutic and rehabilitative services for infants, children, and adolescents.
