If your child is being considered or scheduled for a posterior spinal fusion repair, you are encouraged to attend our pre-operative spine class that will help guide your family through the surgical process.  

The spine class is held virtually on the second Tuesday of every month, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. via WebEx.

The class is led by our spine program coordinator and our spine team members including, OR nurses, PACU nurses, child life specialists, physical therapists, and one of our spine surgeons. During this class, we will review commonly asked questions and give you the opportunity to ask your own questions. We will also provide a link to our virtual hospital tour. The goal is to prepare your family for what to expect before, during, and after spinal fusion surgery.
