Your child's health and development are our primary concerns. We participate in the
Reach Out and Read program, as well as community events that focus on children’s health and well-being. Our physicians have hospital privileges at CHKD, Chesapeake Regional Medical Center, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and Sentara Leigh Hospital.
We encourage a partner-like relationship between the provider, patient, parents and the community to ensure that your child receives comprehensive preventive health care and that parents understand the development stages that are part of growing up. We also encourage parents and patients to meet with all of our providers. A friendly face is always comforting to a sick child. Established patients can now
schedule a well-visit appointment with our office online.
New patients are welcome at both office locations. For expectant parents, we offer free prenatal, get-acquainted visits twice monthly at our Oakbrooke location. Register online for a
Chesapeake Pediatrics Meet-and-Greet of your choice. We also offer same-day sick appointments upon request, along with easy access to CHKD specialists, many of whom offer appointments at the
CHKD Health Center at Oakbrooke.
On-site billing representatives are available to help with your billing questions or concerns. We also offer in-depth information about insurance in our
billing and insurance section.
Quality, Patient-Centered Care
A medical home is not a place – it’s the way our healthcare team provides the highest quality services to best meet the needs of your child and your family. It is a trusting partnership between you, your child, and your child’s primary care team. It’s where your child’s medical records are complete, and everyone knows your name. And, it’s a pediatrician who will help you access and coordinate specialty care, educational resources, family support, and any other services that are important to the well-being of your child. We are proud to have been recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) for our commitment to the highest quality, patient-centered care.
