About Us
At Norfolk Pediatrics, we emphasize a warm, relaxed atmosphere where children feel comfortable.
Routine checkups are one of the most important ways to keep kids healthy. By maintaining a regular checkup schedule, we can help prevent illness, detect hidden problems, and monitor your child’s development and growth.
It’s important for us to see your child often during the first three years, then annually throughout childhood and the teen years. If your child is a student-athlete, remember to have your sports physical completed during your annual well visit.
Because we understand that wellness is much more than physical health, we work with CHKD to provide comprehensive partnerships with our families—offering access to the most up-to-date evidence-based care and providing a wide variety of educational programs designed to support patients and families in making good choices and sustaining healthy behaviors.
When Your Child Is Sick
If your child is sick and needs to see a doctor, we encourage you to call us as early as possible in the day. Our staff will help evaluate your child’s condition to determine if a same-day sick or urgent visit is needed. When appropriate, we will provide home-care advice for your child.
Refilling Prescriptions
Prescription refills can be requested at our office during regular hours or online through your MyCHKD account anytime. Please allow three to five business days for refills to be completed.
A message to our CHKD patient families:
Understanding Childhood Vaccine Recommendations
Parents likely have many questions regarding the Executive Order dated August 10, 2026, related to childhood vaccines. The Executive Order outlines the Administration’s recommendations regarding childhood vaccines and the role that states, the scientific and medical community, and parents should play in considering revisions to current, evidence-based best practices in administering childhood vaccines.
It is important to understand that the Executive Order does not change law, regulation, or evidence-based guidance that CHKD currently follows, including the number, schedule, timing, or composition of vaccines administered by CHKD pediatricians.

After-hours Telehealth Appointments
Norfolk Pediatrics has partnered with Hello Pediatrics, a group of Board-Certified Pediatricians, to provide after-hours telehealth appointments. Your child’s visit notes will be entered into their Norfolk Pediatric medical records, and your primary care provider will offer follow-up and continuing care, if necessary. Please call (855) 502-9899 for after-hours telehealth appointments.
