All of our pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners have met stringent requirements set by national certification organizations.

Our pediatricians maintain hospital privileges at CHKD, Chesapeake General Hospital, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, and Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Parents likely have many questions regarding the Executive Order dated August 10, 2026, related to childhood vaccines. The Executive Order outlines the Administration’s recommendations regarding childhood vaccines and the role that states, the scientific and medical community, and parents should play in considering revisions to current, evidence-based best practices in administering childhood vaccines.

It is important to understand that the Executive Order does not change law, regulation, or evidence-based guidance that CHKD currently follows, including the number, schedule, timing, or composition of vaccines administered by CHKD pediatricians.
