Tackling Mental Wellness in Young Athletes - Special Forum for Parents, Coaches and Student Athletes

Pressure. Anxiety. Distress. It's not easy to see the signs of mental health struggles in kids who play sports at all levels. Parents, coaches, and student athletes are invited to attend a special forum at Chartway Arena's Big Blue Room on March 11 to learn the symptoms an athlete may experience due to mental health challenges. Featured speakers include Chesapeake native, 15 year MLB veteran and 2-time All-Star Michael Cuddyer, as well as Virginia Beach native and former star running back for James Madison University, Eugene Holloman.
