Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters is a 266-bed hospital, centrally located in the Hampton Roads region in Norfolk, VA. The CHKD Health System has convenient locations stretching north to the Middle Peninsula, west to Williamsburg, as far east as the Eastern Shore and as far south as Elizabeth City, N.C.

With 20 pediatric practices, we have offices in every corner of our region and our CHKD pediatricians have immediate access to the full range of special pediatric services. Just as important, our CHKD pediatricians share a commitment to quality, excellence and child-centered care and have met stringent requirements set by national certification organizations. These practices specialize in the care of infants, children and adolescents, from birth through 21 years.

Our CHKD specialists provide services in many pediatric specialties and base their practices at CHKD while serving as faculty in the department of pediatrics at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

At the CHKD main hospital in Norfolk, we provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care from the most complex surgeries to very minor outpatient procedures.
